Dear Tarot,
First of all, let me say you are lucky to live in such a warm and
welcoming  place as the cottage. ;)  I hope to one day build a home that is just as  open and inviting. That is what my question has to do with.  My fiance and I  are in the process of purchasing our first home, and are very excited.
What  do you see in store for us, our home and future family.
 Brightest Blessings,
 Angela

Angela,
Congrats on your fiancé and things seem to be going well.  The cards tell me that your fiancé is a very independent person. It seems to me that he will have alot to with helping things get off the ground.  Things will finally start moving for you, but then something makes you  feel like giving up. Strength will be needed, just hold on through it and every thing will be fine. Soon a man will come who will have a huge impact on your lives. It may be your father who comes to help you, or some one who is older than you.  so, it looks hilly. Ups and downs, but isn't that what life is? Rest assured, make the right decisions and anything is possible. If you get advice, consider it
closely. And, any home you own, no matter how small or grand, can be a nice open cottage.

Blessed Be,
Tarot

Tarot,

i have recently started practicing wicca (solitary) My parents do not believe in witchcraft or any of that "nonsense" as they say. I want to tell them that i am a practitioner but i don't know how they will take it. Can you please give me some tips or tell me how they will react? Also do you know any sites (other than this one) where it explains the wiccan and pagan religion (so
they can read it and not tell everyone i am a freak)

Dear "Solitary"-
I'm sorry your parents are so against Wicca. I think perhaps you should do a study on the religion and present it to them. Many people think Wicca is either bad or silly simply because they don't really know what it is. Find all the facts so that when you do talk to them you'll be able to present your information in a knowledgeable, well thought out manner.
A good site to go for information is:
http://www.americanwicca.com/
The site may say "American Wicca" but the explanations and answers are good no matter where you live.
Another tip for talking w/ parents is timing.  Don't try to do it when they're really busy or tired. Let them know that you'd like to discuss something with them and it may take some time and ask when would be good for them.  If they're prepared to sit down and talk, they will listen alot more closely to your side.  Also, be sure to listen respectfully to what they have to say.  Keep it a discussion - not an argument.
If you can show them all the facts, and then tell them, "I know you are against this, and I know you have your reasons.  But I find this religion interesting, and I agree with the morals.  If you don't like me practicing this religion, I'm sorry, but that is what I want to do.  Maybe you could learn more about it with me."
If they start barking at you about God and the Ten Commandments, just say, "Thou shalt not judge, lest ye be judged."
Because, it doesn't really matter what you have faith in, as long as you have faith.

Tarot

Merry meet Tarot,
I'm planning to start my own business.  I'm working on my biz plan, marketing strategy and performing a market  research. My question is: "Will it be a success in the future, do I come  across problems and are there points of particular interest you would
like to point out to me?"
Brightest Blessings, Judith

Dear Judith - The first card I pulled was the Empress.  She represents you.  She is a giving person who is just naturally in charge.
Next is the page of wands reversed.  This represents your position and means that you are working very hard towards your goal, but it's proving to be more difficult than you thought. Almost like you are lost in a giant desert looking for the oasis in a sand storm.
The next card shows that you had recently had trouble connecting or communicating with the people you needed to talk with in order to get your business up and going. You also just recently gained something of great importance to you, something worth it's weight in gold. (in your eyes)
In the present or very near future, people close to you seem to be taking you for granted or not taking you seriously.  Perhaps some people that you'd thought would be completely behind your endeavor have not been supportive after all? *Lifts eyebrow* You might want to be careful of that, it might gum up the emotional works.  The Tower card indicates some upheaval.
Others see you as a very dominating, strong person, who also has a short temper at times.  However, you are also a kind person who is fair, and has control over their own life. A naturally a joyful person who takes delight in all things beautiful. Perhaps even going through a period of renewing your Self...
The final cards reveal your fear of sacrificing too much for this business if it doesn't succeed, but that the end result will be worth it.  Patience and hard work pay off slowly but surely.  Your business will be a financial success in the long run.
Blessings and Best Luck,
Tarot

 Tarot;

               star light

Star Light,
As I told one of the other people who wrote to me, some people are more sensitive than others.  I happen to feel the same things you do, and I understand how muffling it can be.  But, just try and remember, the goddess is always watching over you. It's probably her, and you are just so sensitive it frightens you.  This is what my instincts tell me.
I went ahead and did a Tarot reading. The first card I pulled was the Empress.  She is a motherly figure.  The second card I drew was the ten of pentacles. This indicates family. So it seems to me to most definitely be a mother figure.  Again, my instincts are saying that this is reflecting the Goddess.  Try not to feel as if you must be perfect before her, because she understands when we make mistakes. She knows that mistakes can not be forgotten or erased, only learned from, and you can use them as a foundation to become a better person.  She knows as well as any that sometimes, a mistake can be the strongest foundation of all.
Tarot

Merry Meet, Tarot!

I am a 21 years old girl from the Netherlands.
Me and my boyfriend are living together now for 2 years. Since the moment we came for the first time in our present home, I've got the feeling that we were not alone. This feeling never left. At this moment we are making the house more cosy. More details, more paintings, etc. Maybe that will help. But still I've got this strange feeling and I am never feeling really comfortable or "at home" in this house.
By the way, nothing really shocking has ever occured. No flying books or shaking glasses. It's just my feeling. My friend does'nt sense it, and what he senses in this house doesn't feels frightning to him.
Is it possible that you check your tarot cards on this? Has something happend in this house that isn't really closed jet? Or is it just that silly me?

And, if that is what I am sensing, what can I do about it? I am not really fond of the idea to find an exorcist or something like that.
Thank you so much!
Brightest Blessings
Aurora

Aurora,
I don’t think that this feeling is just ‘silly you’.  Sometimes one person is more sensitive than another and can feel things another does not.  I can almost guarantee that something did happen in that house that left behind the vibes you’re picking up.
My tarot cards say that there was a conflict in the house.  Something unresolved that left a bunch of bad vibes lying around.  Like dust never swept away.  It must have been a family conflict.
My instincts say that you shouldn’t worry too much, and the Wheel of Fortune in your reading smiles on you and your house.  Time may resolve this, but in the mean time, you should do a House Blessing.
A simple one you can do is to first, clean your house physically and thoroughly from top to bottom. Then sit down and put yourself in a meditative state.  Explain to any "presences" in the house that this is now your home and it's time for them to leave NOW.  Be kind, but very firm.  Let there be no question in your mind but that this is how it is.  Sprinkle salt (that you have blessed) throughout the house and then sweep it toward and out the front door letting it carry any bad vibes with it. (Sweep your front steps too if you have some!)  If you have carpeting, you can vacuum from the back to the front of the house and then take the bag directly outside.  With salt water, draw a pentagram on each window and mirror and over each entrance to the house.  Then take a white candle and some sandalwood  incense to each room.  When you get to that room, place the candle and incense in the center, and go to each wall.  Draw your energy up from the earth and direct the energy out from the palms of your hands and into the wall until you feel or see it start to glow.  Do this with each wall in each room of the house - and don't forget the closets!

Afterward, shower, play beautiful music, sing out loud (happy songs) and bring fresh flowers into your home. There will be a vacancy in the house left by your banishing.  Fill it with positive energies immediately or what ever was inhabiting your house may return.

Good Luck and be Blessed!
Tarot

MM Tarot-
I am a wiccan.  In fact my whole family is.  The problem is my boyfriend.  He's really cool and I like him allot, but he thinks wiccans are silly and this stuff is stupid.  He's always putting me down and making fun of me - especially in front of my friends!  My mom says I should dump him.  What do you think?
Blessings,
moongirl

Moongirl,

I'm sorry to say, I've been in a similar situation.  But, before you go and dump him, I think you should approach him about it.  Tell him that it really hurts your feelings that he is too immature to accept you as who you are.  If after that if he still is a royal pain, you've got your proof that he just obviously doesn't care about the real you, and is not worth your time!

Dear Tarot,
There's this girl at school that always causes everyone trouble. She goes around gossiping and spreading rumors.  One of my friends really got in trouble because of lies this girl told.  Is there a spell I can do to stop her?
Thanks.
(no name)

No Name,
Yes, there are a few spells you could do to tighten the lid on her fly dispenser. But the first thing you should always do is to make sure your spell isn't going to directly affect any one in a harmful way.  An example would be to cast a circle, then take a photograph of the girl and, with a red felt pen, scribble out her mouth chanting, "If nothing but ill from your lips can fall then let there be nothing from them at all."  Bury the photo with some slippery elm bark (an herb).
A conditional spell is something that only affects the person if they're actually doing what they shouldn't. (an That's why I love conditional spells so much, as soon as this chick stops gossiping, the spell stops hassling her.  But if she does gossip, it may cause something to happen to distract her.  Most importantly, try to find a spell that will stop but not harm her. Most  *older* Witches, like my mom, would suggest you do a binding as a last resort.  However, many Wiccans feel bindings are unethical under any circumstances.

M.M. Tarot -
I want to know if this guy I met last weekend likes me.  His name is Jason, he's got dark hair and he's an Aries.  Can you do a reading for us?
Thank you and Blessed Be,
Sparrowhawk

Sparrowhawk,
In our reading for today, the four of wands shows me that there is a good chance for a strong friendship here.  This card proposes that you two get along well together. The Lovers Card shows me that their is a very good chance of you getting together, however, the ten of cups wants to warn you to be careful.  In your relationship there may be a point where he starts taking you for granted.  The seven of wands indicates that, because of this, you will naturally get defensive against him. This could ruin your relationship. The High Priestess tells you  to make sure this doesn't happen; you should try to not clam up if he starts forgetting how lucky he is to have you.  Instead, be brave and tell him, "Hey!  I'm still a person.  Don't forget that I' m your girl friend!"
